High-Quality Handcrafted Goods in a Historic Setting

If walls could talk… these would tell you about their long history, dating back to the 19th century, and the years they spent as home to the Village Hardware Store. And they’d speak of a growing community of local Bird-in-Hand and Lancaster County artisans who now showcase an array of exceptional handcrafted merchandise in a setting that is as unique as the goods themselves. “Meet the Maker” days provide opportunities for shoppers to connect directly with the artisans, and even watch them at work, while a centralized location makes buying goods from multiple vendors easy and convenient.

Meet Our Artisans. Bird-in-Hand Artisan Village is home to a wide variety of vendors. Looking for distinctive handcrafted furniture, candles and home décor? Authentic artwork from Amish Country? From leather goods to local foods, from candles to clothing, jewelry and more—it’s all under one roof. Whether you are looking for something for yourself or your home, or seeking a special gift for someone else, you’ll find something for every taste at the Artisan Village.

Hours:
Monday–Saturday 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
